USA Shipping Update
As you know, the US President has signed an executive order imposing higher customs duties on all parcels from Europe to the United States (15% customs duty for orders over €1). It is now mandatory to pay customs duties when purchasing goods (in practice, directly on our website ; this is the DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) method). This method has several advantages
- No delays at customs, therefore faster delivery
- No unexpected customs fees ; everything is paid in advance.
This new regulation has forced all of Europe to suspend shipping while it seeks new solutions and adapts to the new process.
Partial reopening of shipments to the United States
France, through its Colissimo La Poste service, has reopened its DDP shipping services to the USA on September 7, 2025.
Starting September 8, 2025, US customers will be able to order from our website again, but with a slightly higher shipping fee and an additional 15% tax at checkout. We don't know when we'll be able to return to a more affordable rate, or if this will be possible in the near future.
We would like to remind you that we are only adapting to the international situation, and that the price we are currently offering is the best possible in France. As soon as a better solution arises, we will implement it.
